A ready-to-use, cementitious dry shake floor hardener containing very hard, well-graded natural aggregates. Applied to freshly poured concrete, it cures monolithically with the slab to form a dense, abrasion-resistant surface with reduced dust formation.

Application

For surface reinforcement of new concrete floor slabs where improved abrasion resistance and reduced dust formation are required. Suitable for floors subjected to severe mechanical wear, including:

• Warehouses and circulation lanes.
• Mechanical engineering workshops.
• Parking lots and service stations.
• Garages and similar working floors.

This is a dry shake treatment for fresh concrete, not a liquid densifier or a topping applied directly to an already hardened slab.

How to Use

1. After bleeding has finished but before setting begins, smooth and level the freshly poured concrete using a vibrating straightedge while the concrete remains plastic.
2. Sprinkle the dry mixture evenly by hand over the smooth, wet concrete at the specified consumption of 3–6 kg/m².
3. Allow the powder to absorb moisture from the concrete. Once evenly moist, consolidate and power-float the surface.
4. When the mixture becomes plastic or is about to set, pre-smooth using a power float at low speed with metal blades at minimum inclination.
5. If necessary, carry out final smoothing later using the power float at high speed.
6. Apply an approved curing system to prevent rapid moisture loss and resulting surface cracks.
7. Keep traffic off until the required curing period has elapsed. Timing depends on ambient temperature and the cement used in the slab.
