A one-component, non-corrosive neutral silicone sealant for indoor and outdoor joints. Its flexibility, low odour and good UV and weathering resistance make it suitable for neat weatherproof seals around windows, doors and tile perimeters.

Existing listing precautions exclude alkaline surfaces such as concrete, plaster and masonry; bituminous substrates; natural rubber and EPDM; natural stone, marble and granite; swimming-pool joints; pressurised or permanently immersed joints; totally confined spaces; structural or insulated glazing; and food-contact applications. Confirm substrate and application suitability with Sika before use in these conditions.

How to Use

1. Ensure surfaces are sound, clean, dry and strong enough to withstand joint movement. Remove dirt, oil, grease, old sealants, poorly bonded coatings, dust and loose material.
2. For optimum adhesion and critical applications, follow Sika's pretreatment instructions. Lightly abrade aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, powder-coated metals and glazed tiles, then clean and treat with Sika Aktivator-205. Wait more than 15 minutes but less than 6 hours before sealing.
3. For brass and titanium-zinc, apply Aktivator-205, wait more than 15 minutes but less than 6 hours, then apply Primer-3 N. Wait more than 30 minutes but less than 8 hours before sealing. For PVC, use Primer-215 and wait more than 30 minutes but less than 8 hours. Clean glass with isopropanol.
4. Where a porous substrate is approved for the application, use Primer-3 N and wait more than 30 minutes but less than 8 hours. Primers do not replace proper cleaning or make an unsuitable substrate suitable. Perform project-specific adhesion tests before full application.
5. Prepare suitable joint backing, load the cartridge into a compatible sealant gun and apply evenly with full contact against the joint sides. Tool promptly for a smooth finish.
6. Apply at air and substrate temperatures of +5°C to +40°C, more than 3°C above the dew point.
7. Clean tools immediately with Sika Remover-208. Cured material requires mechanical removal. Use Sika Cleaning Wipes-100 for skin cleaning.

One approximately 280ml cartridge of Sika SikaSeal-128 in the selected colour. The manufacturer's basic-colour carton contains 12 cartridges; an individual colour option does not include a full carton. Application gun, primers and cleaners are not listed as included.
