Application

For making tile joints and building surfaces water repellent and helping protect against water ingress. Suitable applications described by Sika include tile joints and concrete.

Consumption depends on substrate quality and porosity:

• Concrete and mortar: 0.15–0.20 kg/m²
• Porous material: 0.30–0.50 kg/m²

How to Use

1. Apply with a low-pressure spray gun, brush or roller in a single layer from top to bottom, avoiding runs.
2. Ambient and substrate temperatures must be between +5°C and +35°C.
3. Protect from rain for at least 3 hours at +20°C.
4. For Sikagard polymer paint, wait at least 5 hours before overcoating. Consult the paint manufacturer for other paint compatibility.
5. Clean tools immediately with water. Follow the current Product Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet.
