A fast-curing, one-component polyurethane foam for fixing, insulating and filling connection joints around windows, doors, pipe entries and vents. Its multi-position nozzle application helps seal gaps against noise, cold and draughts.

Application

For fixing, insulating and filling connection joints around window and door frames, pipe entries, air-conditioning vents and roller blind housings. Provides insulation against noise, cold and draughts after a single application.

How to Use

1. Prepare a clean, sound surface free from oils, grease, dust and loose particles. Remove paint, cement laitance and poorly adhering contaminants.
2. Pre-dampen the substrate with a mist spray of clean water to support proper curing and prevent secondary expansion. Sika states that primers or activators are not required.
3. Apply using the nozzle, following the can label and current Product Data Sheet. Control consumption by adjusting pressure on the valve and allow for expansion.
4. Allow approximately 30–60 minutes before cutting, depending on foam thickness and ambient and substrate temperatures. Full cure is reached after 24 hours.
5. Clean tools immediately with Sika Boom Cleaner and/or Sika Remover-208. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
