- Colour: Black
- Density: 1.08 kg/L
- Shelf life: 12 months from production
- Storage: Original unopened, undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at +5°C to +30°C, protected from direct sunlight
Application
For waterproofing concealed reinforced-concrete flat roofs and suitable structures subject to thermal movement or vibration. The referenced system is cured before being overlaid with cementitious screed; do not assume suitability as an exposed roof finish.
Although the reference's overview mentions damp-surface application, its detailed preparation requirements specify substrate moisture below 6% by weight, no rising moisture and no standing water. Follow these measured limits rather than applying onto visibly wet or saturated concrete.
How to Use
- Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days. The substrate must be sound and have pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm².
- Mechanically prepare an open-textured surface. Remove weak concrete, existing coatings or membranes, laitance, dirt, grease, oil, surface treatments and loose material. Expose defects and remove dust using industrial vacuum equipment. Carry out an application trial and adhesion tests before full application.
- Confirm substrate moisture below 6% by weight and no rising moisture according to ASTM D4263. Remove all puddles and standing water.
- Apply at air and substrate temperatures of +5°C to +40°C with relative humidity no higher than 80%. Keep the substrate and uncured membrane at least 3°C above the dew point.
- Stir manually or with a low-speed mixer until homogeneous. For the primer only, dilute Sikalastic-110 with 1 part clean water as directed by Sika and stir gently until uniform. Apply approximately 0.2 kg/m² and allow it to dry.
- For the standard system, apply two coats of undiluted Sikalastic-110 at approximately 0.65 kg/m² each. Ensure each preceding layer is completely dry before recoating.
- For the reinforced system, apply the first coat at approximately 0.8 kg/m² and embed one layer of Sika Reemat Premium-120 while wet. Roll out bubbles and creases. Provide at least 50mm edge overlaps and 100mm border overlaps, as specified in the reference. Follow with two further coats at approximately 0.5 kg/m² each, allowing each preceding coat to dry completely.
- Allow at least 48 hours of curing before overlaying with cementitious screed, subject to actual conditions and the current Product Data Sheet.
- Clean tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Cured material requires mechanical removal.

Technical Information
- Tensile strength without reinforcement: Approximately 1.5 N/mm², ASTM D412.
- Elongation at break without reinforcement: Approximately 1000%, ASTM D412. This is a material test value, not an allowable structural-joint movement rating.
- Standard system: Diluted primer approximately 0.2 kg/m², followed by two coats at approximately 0.65 kg/m² each.
- Reinforced system: Diluted primer approximately 0.2 kg/m², first coat approximately 0.8 kg/m² with one layer of Sika Reemat Premium-120, then two coats at approximately 0.5 kg/m² each.
- Consumption figures are theoretical and exclude additional material due to porosity, surface profile, level variations and wastage.
- Primer waiting time at +30°C: Approximately 30–60 minutes minimum; 2 days maximum.
- Standard-system intercoat waiting time at +30°C: Approximately 4–5 hours minimum; 2 days maximum.
- The reference also lists a 5–8-hour minimum intercoat window at +30°C with the same duplicated standard-system label. Confirm the applicable window for the selected system with Sika; do not assume the ambiguous entry applies to the reinforced system.
- Full cure: At least 48 hours at +25°C. Allow at least 48 hours before screed overlay and adjust for site conditions.

Sika recommends mixing with SikaLatex for better exterior adhesion. Follow the applicable SikaLatex and adhesive instructions for the mixing procedure; the reference does not provide a latex dosage.
How to Use
- Ensure concrete is clean, sound, level and free from oil and grease. Remove cement laitance, formwork traces and loosely adhering particles by suitable preparation such as sandblasting or high-pressure water jetting.
- Pre-wet absorbent substrates to a saturated-surface-dry condition.
- Add the powder to approximately 4.0–4.6L of clean water per 20kg bag. Mix for 3–5 minutes using a handheld or mechanical mixer until homogeneous and lump-free.
- Allow the mixture to stand for 1–2 minutes, then remix thoroughly for another minute.
- Apply with a notched trowel. Back-butter tiles for improved contact and coverage, particularly tiles larger than 30 × 30cm or tiles with deep grooves. Ensure adhesive fills the grooves.
- Press tiles firmly onto the substrate and immediately tamp into position. Complete adjustments within approximately 20 minutes and ensure proper adhesive contact with the substrate.
- Follow Sika's stated curing guidance: walls after 7–8 hours depending on temperature, floors after 24 hours, and full traffic after 14 days. Confirm the intended subsequent wall or floor operation before proceeding.
- Clean unhardened material from tools with water. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Application
- Interior and exterior waterproofing and damp-proofing of concrete, cementitious rendering, brickwork and blockwork.
- Drinking-water, wet-room and swimming-pool systems.
- Rigid waterproofing of basement walls in new construction and refurbishment.
- Filling pores and blowholes.
- Sealing fine hairline cracks in concrete that are not subject to movement.
- Levelling mortar for concrete repairs.
This is a rigid cementitious system. Do not treat its hairline-crack sealing use as suitability for moving cracks or movement joints.
How to Use
- Prepare the substrate according to the current Sika Product Data Sheet and slightly pre-wet the surface before application.
- Shake part A. Pour approximately half into a clean mixing container, then add part B slowly while mixing. Add the remainder of part A and mechanically mix for approximately 3 minutes until uniform and lump-free. Use a forced-action mixer or suitable drill mixing equipment.
- For standard slurry application, mix A:B at 1:4 by weight without added water. Apply by stiff brush or suitable spray equipment, working the first coat in one direction.
- Once the first coat has hardened, apply the second brush coat crosswise to the first. Keep within the specified layer thickness of 0.75–2mm.
- For trowel-applied mortar, Sika specifies a 10% reduction in part A, approximately A:B 1:4.5 by weight. Apply the second coat once the first has hardened. For pores and blowholes, trowel tightly into the defects.
- Apply at air and substrate temperatures of +8°C to +35°C. Plan placement around the approximate 30-minute pot life at +20°C.
- Cure immediately after application for at least 3–5 days using polythene sheeting or a similar approved method to support cement hydration and minimise cracking.
- If the interval between applications exceeds 24 hours, Sika specifies light blast-cleaning of the surface. Allow at least 7 days of cure before overcoating with the solvent-based primers or coatings referenced by Sika.
