Consumption

  • Mosaics and small tiles: 2.0–4.5 kg/m²
  • Normal size tiles (20×20 cm): 4.5–9.0 kg/m²
  • Large format tiles (up to 3,600 cm² internal / 2,100 cm² external): 9.0–13.5 kg/m²
  • Actual coverage depends on substrate profile, tile size, and application technique. Site trials recommended.

Application Steps

  • Mixing: Add powder to clean water and mix mechanically for a minimum of 3 minutes (forced action mixer or drill with paddle at <500 rpm). Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then remix for 15 seconds before use. Do not use a free-fall concrete mixer.
  • Application: Apply with a notched trowel onto the substrate at a rate of ~1 m² at a time to prevent skinning. Choose trowel size to achieve the correct thickness on the tile back. Ensure no skinning occurs before bedding tiles.
  • Tile Placement: Press tiles firmly into the adhesive and adjust within 30 minutes of application. For tiles larger than 30×30 cm, back-buttering is recommended.
  • Cleaning: Clean tools with water before material hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
