- Pump approximately twice until both components come out uniformly before starting application.
Application Steps
- Cartridge Preparation (300 ml, 550 ml, 850 ml): Unscrew cap → Cut film → Screw on static mixer → Place in dispenser and start application.
- Cartridge Preparation (350 ml, 825 ml): Unscrew cap → Remove cap → Screw on static mixer → Place in dispenser and start application.
- Substrate Quality: Concrete and mortar must be older than 28 days. Verify substrate strength; perform pull-out tests if unknown.
- Hole Preparation: Drill hole to required diameter and depth. Clean hole with blow pump or oil-free compressed air from the bottom (min. 2x). Brush with special steel brush (min. 2x, brush diameter larger than hole). Repeat blow cleaning (min. 2x). Hole must be clean, dry, and free from oil and grease. Clean threaded rods and reinforcement bars thoroughly.
- Priming: Pump adhesive twice until both parts come out uniformly. Release gun pressure and clean cartridge opening with a cloth.
- Injection: Inject adhesive from the bottom of the hole while slowly drawing back the static mixer. Avoid entrapping air. Use extension tubing for deep holes.
- Anchor Insertion: Insert anchor with a rotary motion into the filled hole within the open time. Some adhesive must come out of the hole. Do not move or load the anchor during curing time.
- Cleaning: Clean all tools immediately with Sika® Colma Cleaner. Wash hands with warm soap water. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Consumption
- ~1.9 kg/m² per mm of thickness
Application Steps
- Substrate Quality: Concrete and mortar must be older than 28 days. Surface must be clean, dry or mat damp (no standing water), and free from oil, grease, coatings, and loose particles. Steel must be de-rusted to Sa 2.5 standard.
- Substrate Preparation: Concrete/mortar/stone/bricks: remove laitance and contaminants to achieve an open-textured surface. Steel: blast clean and vacuum; avoid dew point conditions.
- Mixing: Mix components A+B for at least 3 minutes with a mixing spindle at max. 300 rpm until smooth and uniform grey. Pour into a clean container and stir for 1 more minute at low speed to minimise air entrapment. Mix only the quantity usable within pot life.
- Application: Apply directly to the prepared substrate. For vertical surfaces, product is non-sag up to 15 mm. Do not mix the next unit until the previous one is fully used. To extend workability at high temperatures, divide mixed adhesive into smaller portions or pre-chill components (not below +5°C).
- Cleaning: Clean all tools immediately after use with Sika® Colma Cleaner. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Consumption
- Without reinforcement: ~1.3 kg/m² total (primer + 2 coats)
- With Sika®-120 Reemat: ~1.9–2.1 kg/m² total (primer + 4 coats + reinforcement)
Application Steps
- Substrate Preparation – Concrete: Cure min. 28 days, pull-off strength ≥1.5 N/mm². Mechanically prepare to open texture. Remove laitance, blowholes, voids, and all contaminants. Repair defects with Sikafloor®, SikaDur®, or SikaGard® products. Apply in late afternoon/evening to reduce outgassing. Always prime and use reinforced system on concrete.
- Substrate Preparation – Other: Brick/stone: flush point mortar joints, use localised reinforcement. Slates/tiles: ensure sound and secure; abrade glazed tiles before priming. Bituminous felt/coatings: firmly adhered, no degraded areas, always use fully reinforced system. Metals: abrade to bright metal, reinforce over joints. Timber: sound and firmly fixed.
- Mixing: Stir Sikalastic®-590 thoroughly for 1 minute to achieve a homogeneous mixture. Avoid over-mixing to minimise air entrainment.
- Without Reinforcement: Apply primer (diluted 10% water, ~0.3 kg/m²). Allow to dry tack-free. Apply 1st coat (~0.5 kg/m²) and allow to dry. Apply 2nd coat (~0.5 kg/m²).
- With Sika®-120 Reemat: Apply primer (~0.3 kg/m²). Apply 1st coat (~0.3 kg/m²). Apply 2nd coat (~0.5 kg/m²) wet, then roll in Sika®-120 Reemat ensuring full saturation. Overlap edges min. 5 cm. Apply 3rd coat (~0.5 kg/m²) wet-on-wet. After drying, sand any upstanding fibres, then apply final coat (0.3–0.5 kg/m²).
- Tools: Solvent-resistant short-piled lambskin roller for field areas; thick hair brush for details and penetrations; airless spray (min. 220 bar, 5.1 L/min, 0.83 mm nozzle) for spray application.
- Cleaning: Clean all tools with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Consumption
- 0.15–0.25 L/m² per coat (4–7 m²/L) on power-trowelled concrete
- A second coat is required on porous, rough-textured, or brush-finished surfaces
Application Steps
- Substrate – Fresh Concrete (≥7 days): Finish using power floating, manual floating, or tamping. Cure for at least 7 days with water spray, blankets, or plastic sheets.
- Substrate – Hardened/Old Concrete: Clean with high-pressure water cleaner. Allow to dry completely. Remove all dust, dirt, and loose material with brush or vacuum.
- Important – Remove Existing Treatments: Completely remove any curing agents, membrane-forming sealers, or asphalt before application.
- Application: Apply in a continuous film using a high-volume, low-pressure spray unit. Do not use sprayers previously used for silicones or release agents. Touch up any dry spots immediately.
- Scrubbing: Scrub material into the surface with a soft bristle broom or floor-scrubbing machine for minimum 30 minutes until the material begins to gel and becomes slippery.
- Reworking: Wet the surface slightly with water spray and rework for another 10–20 minutes.
- Removal of Excess: After ~20 minutes when material returns to a gel, rinse the floor and remove excess with a squeegee, wet vacuum, or mop. Dried residue leaves white stains removable only mechanically.
- Second Coat: Apply on porous or rough surfaces after the first coat is dry and tack-free.
- Before Subsequent Coating: After cure, abrade the surface mechanically (light to heavy shot blasting) before applying any subsequent coating system.
- Hot Weather (>+25°C): Store product in a cool place. Apply additional material to keep surface wet during scrubbing.
- Moisture Protection: Protect treated surface from moisture for at least 3 days after application to prevent efflorescence.
